It just blows my mind what total morons people can be while driving. You know that the law says that you need to signal for 3 seconds for it to count as signaling? If you give it one blink and then cut into another lane, then you can still be cited for not signaling. The funny thing is that I notice more of the newer cars failing to signal than the older ones. Maybe its because people think that just because they have a new car that nothing bad can happen to them. I don't know about them, but I've seen plenty of cars with plowed in fronts and demolished rears that still have temporary registrations taped to the windows. I just can't understand why someone with a brand new car wouldn't take a little more time to pay attention on the road and use their bloody signals. Is it just the stupid Utah drivers, or is this something that everybody notices.
I thought I had seen the end of it when I left Dallas. I thought that it wouldn't get any worse than that. I was driving with a friend down there a couple years ago and she was trying to change lanes without signaling. She was getting all bent that people wouldn't let her in. I told her that she might have a better chance if she used her blinker. She seriously glared at me and said: "We don't use blinkers in Dallas." :lol I nearly died laughing. I am one of those types that uses my blinkers all of the time. Even when I lived in Dallas I used them. That doesn't mean those crazy Texans ever recognized them...
