Ardex Line Seems pretty good.

I got a call from this guy who reps the product here in my area and I remember hearing that Ardex was a pretty good line. These are the products I bought off the guy, all have been pretty impressive. The tire shine is killer!!! Great durability and shine, lays nice and flat a little goes a long way, no sling and you can watch the water come out of the tire as the dressing sits. This is my new go to tire and rubber dressing for sure.

I was also happy to find some bug barrier since I had heard Bill D mention something similar. All you do is just spray this on and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. The guy told me that the parfume was created for Enterprise rental cars for ardex. It is just like Febreeze but more powerful and better life. The other items I haven't used yet.

Nice!

I see they're in Philly.... Interesting...

Anyone know of anywhere I can look into purchasing their products without buying cases of it like they say on their website??

blackntan-- Banin's Auto Supply on Brownsville Road in Trevose is carrying some of the Ardex line. I saw it on an endcap there.

We used Ardex at Carmax. Waxes/polishes sucked horribly, but I really liked their OK Green degreaser. Their products were geared more towards dealerships and high volume establishments, and wouldn't be something a consumer would want to use on their own cars. I do like that perfume stuff you posted, I actually still have some left that I mix with my degreaser to use on interiors. I liked their rotary pads also.

The compounds were very gritty and difficult to use. The polish dusted like no other and was hard to remove. I liked Ardex products much more than Blue Coral products though, which is what I used at my most recent job. Blue Coral is probably one of the worst lines I have used!

I think alot of their product line has changed and been enhanced. I didn't buy any waxes cause I use all Meguiar's. They did have what I think is a very good degreaser product and lots of unique items.

I have a friend that swears by Ardex, but the warnings on the packaging scares me off. Everyone is listed as highly flammable...whatever solvent is causing this is more than I want on my car...especially on interior or vinyl/rubber. I even sprayed one of the products made for quick touchs (if memory serves me) and it smelled strong like starting fluid.

I would agree that Ardex is directed at high volume detailers. I always think that a product aimed at this market has to be stronger so that it works quickly.

Try seal B for black cars, that is my secret weapon for a killer swirl remover on Black. its the best I have found. Gary

Seal B is nothing more than a glaze cover up. It won't remove anything, it just covers the swirls for about a week.

Well, I don't have plans to use this line completely I just like to try a little of everything. I can say that the person who told me about this line is a very good detailer although no longer in the business. I am very impressed with the few items I did buy at this point and will try some others, I like the neat items as I already have enough waxes for a lifetime.

Ardex ULT dress is great , you can delute it with water or use it right out of the bottle . They have or had small bottles of it available and the spray head sprays a perfect pattern on the tire . What did you pay for that gallon of ULT ? BTW becareful you'll get staining on driveways , it washes away but it takes a few days.

You can go up to Byberry Rd they have a store there . Also keep an eye out for the Ardex trucks driving around .

Well I have some experience with Ardex products cause my son works at a Lexus dealer and brings home some different products to tryout. IMHO the car wash was horrible, the blue colored glaze was pretty good, the purple tire treatment looked just like the MG endurance and worked very similar, interior detail spray worked decent. All in all I was not overly impressed with any of it. I like MG stuff much more!

I paid like $34 per gallon which makes 2.5 gallons. This stuff goes a long way, one 32oz spray bottle has already done 5 cars with enough left for a couple more. It is the gloss that I like, it makes the car glow, some people on here might think it is too glossy but it is also very black and durable.

This one one reason why I don't care to share my experience with products, good or bad. I have had great success with seal b, and it does remove swirls, not cover them, The trick is using the correct pad/buffer. my 2 cents
