Aqua Wax Question

I was following the directions on the bottle. I"ll follow your method for my next bottle. I'm going to grab some 105 too. Should I apply the AW directly after the 105 or give the 105 a day to cure??

Give the 105 about a day to fully crosslink and harden. Then you can apply AW as often as you prefer. :)

i've done it all the ways mentioned here in this post. i've also used a foam applicator to apply it and then buff. i find i get better coverage and i'm not allowing the product to be absorbed into the mf. i've also tried spit shining with it over carnuba wax, big mistake, streaked like crazy, live and learn. i only did half the hood so it was'nt so bad, i was just experimenting.

Another Question (even further off topic), I just bought a used 2003 Honda Accord and it has some Paint scuffs on the side of the car. I tried some Mothers Clay Bar on it and had no affect. What do you recommend that I can use by hand to get it off?

I am assuming the scuffs aren't deep, i.e. down to the primer or metal? If they are too deep, nothing will fully remove them. However, if you have just surface scuffs, a scratch remover product will likely remove most, if not all, of your problem. For use by hand, I'd recommend something like Meguiar's ScratchX, or a light rubbing compound, such as 3M. Even something lighter, like a pre-wax paint cleaner or all-in-one, may work.

Hope this helps!

Mike

It's just on the surface, you cannot even really feel it when i rub my hand over it. I was gonna grab some 101 when I get the other stuff. I have some Sonus Prewax too. IF the Sonus and 101 don't work I"ll go for some ScratchX or compound.

Thanks

I used some Turtle Wax Premium Polishing compound and the paint scuffs came off. I don't know if others have used this product but it worked for me. I topped it with some AW and it looked great.
