Applying Zaino - By hand or PC?

when you apply by PC you waste product. it has to soak (somewhat) into the pad. That is why sal recomends to apply by hand (i think i recall that)

Thats what I was thinking, because your using so little of it already, and if you use a pad, you gotta use more of it. So that is the only downside of using a PC I guess

Probably my head... buy i dont see how you can apply a small amount of product with a 5.5 or 6 inch pad and come out using less then applying with a small applicator...?

Who said anything about 3 pea sized drops of Zaino???

I have been using my Flex for ZAIO and Z5/Z2 applications. Im thinking that since ZAIO is basically a light cleaning polish and it acts as a bonding agent for Z2/Z5 that I could apply it by hand also, that is if it doesnt need to be heavily worked into the paint and the same for Z5/Z2. I know that the consistancy of ZAIO and the pro polishes is very thin so they break down pretty easy. Maybe I should apply them by hand instead if not both at least Z2 then, what do you guys think?

There is no correct or preferred method for application of ZAIO, Z2 or Z5.

Both methods work (end-point results) equally well. Use the one that you like.

There is no significant product usage difference using either hand or PC when discussing Z2 or Z5. The reservoir of product that remains in the PC pad or hand applicator is essential equal.

ZAIO works slightly faster via a PC but again with patience will obtain equal results by hand. Hand application of ZAIO will require more product than a PC application.

I apply ZPC and the All in One product w/a PC, Z5 and Z2 by hand. I did try based on a fellow users recommendation applying and polishing the clear seal with a pc, it shined like no tomorrow, but it does by hand as well.

Well, I can finally speak in these Zaino threads - took the plunge and got some. I tried by hand and with a PC (LC blue pad) - PC wins, I feel it works the product in the paint better, faster and more evenly. Plus it doesn't screw with my fingers and wrist joints - gettin old.
