Applying Zaino after Klasse AIO

Do I have to wash the car or anything before applying zaino after just applying klasse AIO? Will there be bonding issues?

Most guys say not to mix. I can't personally say i've tried klasse under zaino, but I believe it's not recommended to use anything other than zaino products under Z2/Z5 to prevent any bonding issues. You could use the new Fusion product instead to clean up the paint. I might try some #80 and then ZFC with my PC come the fall before I "winterize" my F-250.

If I am planning on using the Z, I reach for my bottle or Poorboys Pro Polish to clean the surface before I apply.

I've done AIO and then Z without the washing or QDing in between. IIRC, there was a rave about this combo about a year ago here, so I tried it. My experiences, I was able to go about 6 months with this, before I noticed the paint needed some attention.

Best method to use AIO as a cleaning/mild polish agent prior to Zaino application is an Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipedown. This IPA wipedown will remove any protectant that was left behind by AIO at the same time preparing the surface for maximal Zaino bonding.

An IPA wipedown will take about 10 minutes and while worth the effort.

AIO is a wonderful prep product, everyone's arsenal should have a bottle, but Zaino performs best when applied directly to the paint or on top of Zaino's PC Fusion polishing agent.

If AIO achieves your finish appearance quality, a wipedown with IPA will be all you need to do prior to Z application and a killer vehicle appearance and protection.
