Applying Quick Waxes

I am going to put some Meguiars quick wax on my GN. I am aware that you have to spread the wax and not rub it in. Is it ok to put some pressure on the foam pad when applying quick waxes? Do you guys use light pressure when applying?
 
Wha? You are talking about those spray on waxes, right? You don't need a foam pad for those. Just use it like a QD. Spray it on and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. There is no pressure required.
 
Meguiar's Quik Wax. *my* take on the directions. I take a MF towel and spray a shot onto the panel and one onto the towel folded into 1/4s. Spread, then do the same to each panel until done. I let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Longer if humid, then buff off with a clean Mf.

:eek: If it takes that long, why does Meguiars call it 'Quik' wax? Seems to me that using S100 would be faster.



Is there an advantage to this product I am missing?
 
Cuts down a few minutes on application. I can get a car ready and hazing in about 8 minutes. Then again I can slap on a coat of Z in less than 10.



I'm not sure. Its definately quicker than some consumer products. Such as cleaner waxes that requires rubbing and such.



I think S100 is faster, wipe on, wipe off, but who really uses S100 besides bikers and Autopias?? Not the average Joe.
