Applying multiple different brand of wax?

Hi all,

Would it be ok if I apply a layer of collinite #845 on my car and then a layer of poorboys nattys?

I plan to wash my car next week and if I can do this process, I will first apply a coat of Klasse AIO, then a layer of #845, and then a layer of poorboys nattys. Can't wait to see the shine.

Please provide any inputs and it and any inputs is greatly appreciated. Steve (Poorboys) let me know your opinion. Charlesw, Beermerboy, Clean_Dean, and more please let me know your inputs. Thank you!!!

I bet you like the look when the Natty's is applied. Putting a wax over a sealant is a typical practice. Natty's is easy on and easy off and a good choice IMHO.
 
nothing says you can't, and different waxes have different properties.
So I guess you could try a few different combos, but I agree with Kirk, Natty's is winner by itself :bigups

i do it all the time, i've got a collection of waxes and every now and then i try and get creative and apply different combo's of waxes, absolutly nothing wrong with it imho.

I do the same, in my attempt to find the greatest combo...
 
not that it applies to this case, but for those who do mix waxes , just make sure that any wax with cleaners go on first or you'll be removing the previous waxes ;)
 
Mix & Match has worked pretty good for me with a lot of different products.
The only problem I remember was when I used a glaze and followed it with a wax that didn't seem to be compatible. I had streaks and smearing and since the glaze looked fine before I applied the wax and I had also used the wax many times by itself, it just seemed logical that they weren't meant to be together.
The Klasse AIO makes a great cleaner/base for anything I have ever used over it, wax or sealant.
I personally don't top sealants with a wax because I don't care for not being able to add more sealant without stripping the wax.
That's just my preference and a lot of people do go with a wax topper over a sealant.
I think your Natty's and #845 will work good together and you can probably alternate them without needing to do anything other than wash the car.

as a rule i personally don't use cleaner waxes, just straight wax and for just the reason stated.
