The car looks great. Did the CQuartz darken the color or change it in any way? It will be very interesting to see how it holds up and compares.
Good stuff Rasky,
I'm getting ready to purchase Cquartz on a group buy. So get ready to be bombarded with questions, muhahahaha!, j/k.
Did you try Reload? What are your thoughts on it? I will most likely buy Cquartz and IronX. I am still on the fence about Reload and SoPure.
I think this might be the solution to my soft Infiniti paint. I bought a foam cannon and pressure washer to help with marring but I still feel uneasy every time I wash. This new nano-technology seems like a great solution.
I did not buy the Reload....honestly I was turned off by the idea that it is supposed to make the CQuartz last longer. Opti-Coat is lasting 3+ years without any boosters so I wanted to see how this stuff does on it's own.
I still haven't had a chance to wash the wife's car yet....a lot harder now that I don't have a shop in my back yard and actually have to drive to it.
When you do get this stuff the first thing I'd suggest doing is a test panel. I applied it to the hood first and wanted to make sure it could be applied and removed without any issues before doing the whole car. This will add extra time to the process, but will definitely be worth it if you do have issues.
Rasky
I have to agree with Reload...It kind of defeats the purpose of Cquartz. How did you remove Cquartz? I've read orange pad with Menzerna 85rd? Currently have M105,M205, and Menzerna 85rd. Thanks.
I have OC on my car, love it for the winter messes of salt, grime, sludge......that stuff just falls off during a wash.
How does CQ compare at this point? Does it have more scratch durability than OC. Online they show someone hitting the paint with a plastic lighter and its hard to scratch.........are you going to do that test for us??? LOL
I'm just trying to figure out which way to go.....OC or CQ. I want to start selling that service to car dealers as a paint protection service.
Cheers,
GREG
