hello, I'm planning to get some pads and towels. I been using 100% cotton app pads from Zaino and 100% cotton towel.

Since they get dirty even though I wash them, I wanna try new one. I spent 6 hrs last night to looking for my answer. well I became more comfortable about each products but I want to ask you guys about this.

1. for Z2,Z5 applicator, which one is better? Cotton pad, Foam pad, or MF app pad? I'm looking to get Foam app pad.

2. For z7, is form pad any good? how about Cotton pad, or MF pads?

3. for z2,z5 removal, should I get MF towels?

4. how about for z6,or z7, MF works better or MF chamois?

thanks for your inpus.

1. Z2/Z5 - I prefer Foam Pads. I find the cotton applicator pads use up to much product. Also, someone here recently posted that the Zaino applicator cotton pads swirled a CD so check those before you use them.

2. Z7 is the car wash shampoo. Many prefer 100% sheepskin. I personally have been using 100% cotton mitts. I'll probably get around to trying out a sheepskin soon though. Foam Pad???? I'm not a big fan of using microfiber for washing. I find the nap is just not deep enough. Granted, I haven't tryed out a MF mitt though. Come to think of it, I should get me one of those when it's a light wash. Oh great, more $$$$ :)

3. Z2/Z5 Removal - Sal recommends 100% cotton but a great great many of us love Microfiber. Sals only hesitation with MF is the quality control between brands is poor and hence his hesitation to recommend their use. If you buy the highly regards one we promote here, then definite go with MF. Otherwise, go with 100%.

4. Z6 - MF or 100%.

Chamois are bad idea. 1 - Leave oils behind. 2 - There isn't any nap and should you pickup any debris, you will scratch your vehicle must easier.

thanks paco.

anybody recommend "big blue drying towel" from CMA? it's MF chamois. I guess I only use it for after car wash (z7), but for drying the car, is it any better? or just dry with MF towels.

speaking of washing mitt, I'm confused which one I should get.

again this morning, I did search on this topic but it didn't clear up my mind.

- I heard sheepsking wash mitt is the best but then it'll scratch on black? (I have black car).

- CMA mf mitts, I heard good thing about it but then it holds on to dirt (hard to take them out).

- natural sea sponges, I haven't heard much nag feedback on it but pricey.

- Chenill 100% cotton mitt, 100% is hard to find? but I think I'm going to get Chenill Mitt for money.

so which one you using and recommend me to get? Can you also add where you can get it from?

Thanks so much.

I don't see that it would. However, I haven't used on myself.

MF are good but there is that issue with washing the mitt throughly.

Very negative actually. The deep pores and hold a tonne of dirt and do scratch vehicles easily if you don't use plenty of water.

Best bet

Brushes - A big no no.
