Anything better than Dawn for stripping?

I use:

- Megs GC because....Cheap, good lubricity, does a good job of cleaning and rinses off well. Oh....and it can be found locally! Big plus.

- Zaino Z7 because....It was supposed to work best with Zaino sealants, to be honest I don't find it any better than the Megs GC, and I probably won't re-order it when my current bottle runs out. Presently, I only use on my Zaino'd S2000 so it should last me awhile.

- ONR because....I live in New England, and my outside water source and hose are shut off and put away during the winter months. This winter was my first experience with it and I really LIKE it. So much so, that I think I may continue using this as my shampoo of choice all year long. If you're looking for more info on this product, just run a search. There's not much I can add to what's already been said....other than I can be counted on as another person who was at first skeptical and has now seen the light of this outstanding product.

Oh yeah...If I ever feel the need to strip whatevers on the finish to prep it for something new. I use Klasse AIO. No more Dawn washes for me.

CAUTION, INSANE WAX REMOVAL: I used an industrial lye based "soap" on my firebird, followed up with an acid mix rinse, I only recommend doing this if you are repainting your car such as I was prepping for. definitely strips wax!!! -oh and you would have to be careful of the cross contamination of the solutions creating a poisonous gas as well. Rinse the ground well between steps. This will definitely ruin your paint forever. Maybe just don't even think about doing this.

Paint Polish or Paint Cleaner? Quick, gives you strong assurance the wax/sealant will bond correctly.

I'm a fan of FK 1119 also. Used it twicw with good results. Seems to be very safe. Does a excellant job of cleaning your car prior to polish/sealant/wax/glaze.........
