Anyone Want To See Another GT-R (white pearl) Fresh Off The Truck..

It saves weight. Car would prolly be 20-25 pounds heavier with with hood struts.

HA! MAYBE 2lbs if that. Hood struts do not weigh 20lbs.

Please tell me you are joking...

Guys, the first GTR I did I asked the owner about the hood struts and he told me the same thing, it was to save weight, I thought what a joke, here you have a $75K-$85K car and it has to be propped open all just to save 5 lbs??

its truely eye catching, and is gorgeous. But I feel its not the same as other super cars. Ive seen more GTRs in one week than ive seen ferraris in my entire life. Its not a special moment when i see one.

no struts to save weight? ********. It would really annoy me to pay that much for a car, and then have to prop up my own hood.

Now that you posted your 2nd one and Todd is going to do one also and to top it off blk45 send me a text with a picture of a black one, I might as well go sit in a corner and dream of during one in the far future someday. Also to top it off one white one flew by me today on US19 in Clearwater FL going about 90mph. Just awesome Josh! :up

True, it's not in the "supercar" catagory IMO either. It does perform like one but doesn't have the look of one or the pricetag. I like that it is unique in design though and not super flashy and angled like a lambo or Fcar.

Well, I don't post up too much and have been very slow this month so I'm doing a little extra bragging since I won't be able to once it gets busy again.:LOLOL

I wonder where Nissan is getting their hood struts from then!

yea yea yea about the hood struts. most people that own them aren't going to be fishing around the engine bay i'm sure. manual's last the entire life of the car while hydraulic lifts can begin to go bad and therefor fail at holding open the hood.

everytime i see a pic of a GTR i half expect to to growl at me through the screen... thats a bad muthajamma.

surely it's not an exotic, but as stated it performs like one. all wheel drive with all the HP gives serious results. i think in the long run it may have corvette Z06 problems though (lack up true upscale refinement leading to some folks snubing their nose). with that said, i'd love to watch a gallardo owner snub his nose while one overtakes him!
