Anyone Want To See Another GT-R (white pearl) Fresh Off The Truck..

Hey everyone, I consider myself fortunate and blessed to be able to have some of the finest clientele in Dallas TX and I continue to work hard to earn their trust.

I got a call the other day on a new GT-R in White Pearl to basically do the same process as I did on the other one a week ago that I did a write up on.

Unfortunately on this one the dealership had already taken all the plastics off the exterior and the interior so I won't be able to document all that but thankfully they had not washed it yet.

My basic process was to completely decontaminate the exterior inspect it for defects (polish if needed) and seal it as well as condition the interior.

I had sunlight this time so I fully inspected the condition of the paint in the sunlight and to no surprise it was in tip top shape with no defects as the last one had with the dripping rust spot.

Process in a nut shell:

Two bucket wash including rims, wells and everything inbetween

Clay all the contamination including glass

Dry with high velocity blower

Inspect paint condition in sunlight

Wipe down engine bay

Remove adhesive residue from paint where plastic was on

Cleanse paint and glass with Zaino ZAIO

Seal paint, door jambs and other painted areas with Z5

Seal rims with ZAIO

Treat tires with Meg's Hyper Shine 2.5:1 ratio wiped on with applicator

Clean exhaust with Blue Magic Metal Polish

Remove window sticker and other stickers

Remove adhesive residue from windows with goo gone

Dust interior

Vacuum seats and carpets

Install new matts

Condition leathers, doors, dash and steering wheel with Z10

Z8 wipe down of everything

Pull out and take pics....:2thumbs:

Sorry but all I have are the final results, no process shots but I think you'll like them just the same.

Here's just a couple shots of the car finished in the bay at the dealership where the owner had me detail the car.

I think this color combo is just plain sexy.

I know this was more of a picture thread then a documented write up so please forgive the lack of specifics as well as instructions but I hope you enjoyed it just the same.

Great job Josh. I have a full correct (this Sunday) and will take some pictures tomorrow for a little bit of a teaser. I might have to go Bella Firma on it.

I have a black one scheduled but not sure when it will happen since it's an out of town client.:nixweiss

Nice one Josh!

It seems like everyone I talk to lately is doing one of these cars. I want to do a full correction on one.

I'm jealous!

You're jealous??? more like me being jealous of all the cars you've been doing lately. You and Todd are like my inspiration, you guys both constantly challenge me to step up my game.

Anyways, thanks for the kind words guys.

traded in his srt10 viper for it.

Im actually getting sick of seeing GTRs on the road now, the very next day the local sales guys from the local nissan stealership stopped by the friday night car meet with 2 red GTRs. and ive seen 1 red one on the freeway.

One thing that does disappoint me tho... is that the hood has to be propped up manually. on a 70k (before dealership premiums) car? thats just unacceptable. My first car, a 94 oldsmobile cutlass supreme had hood struts... it was just funny when andy went to pop the hood, then proceeded to prop it up himself lol

as you can see, my car and my friends rx8 were totally out of place parked 2 spots from a gtr =P

It saves weight. Car would prolly be 20-25 pounds heavier with with hood struts.
