Has anyone used The Swirl Abolishers? I was thinking of getting the Light and medium cut ones to keep my cars with, they do not get very bad just moderate swirls from being washed and cleaned as they are daily drivers.
I bought all 3 Swirl Abolishers as a set not too long ago for my 1st detailing initiative. This based on a recommendation from Anthony at OCDetails (.com - see his website). I'm not spamming for OCD, Anthony's just a former Honda Pilot owner who became something of a detailing guru for the Honda forum where I do my maintenance research. Before he came along to introduce us to sealants and the PC, most of us on the forum were waxing our cars with T shirts! Anyway, he recommended the Abolishers, saying, "they work!" and I took it on faith given that he had based his livelihood on such things.
On my first ever major paint correction, I found them to work quite well. I ground out a LOT of major defects with SA-III and LC CCS 5" orange, then moved on to SA-II, again with orange, and then SA-I with LC 5" white. The SA-III isn't nearly as dangerous as I had feared, at least not on my Honda. In fact, I had to repeat applications to get out some of the ridiculous RIDS scratches the previous owner had left on the car. I pulled the car out of the garage a few time to check for micro-marring and I got some with the SA-III, but these were easily removed with the SA-II and SA-I. I did not have the slightest problem with dusting, determining when the polish had broken down, or removing the residue. Given my lack of experience, that might say something for the polishes themselves.

I can't compare the Abolishers with Meguiar's or Menzerna, as I haven't worked with either (although I'm really curious now!). That said, I found the Abolishers quite easy to work with and got good results for a NewB. I'm pretty meticulous and have studied the results in a variety of lighting (halide, sunlight, etc) but have found little to find fault with.
