Anyone used Clean Air Fogging Air Freshener?

My car's interior has always had a weird odor to me. The best I can describe it is an old/stale smell. Its not really a bad smell and nobody that rides in my car notices it, but it bothers me.

I was wondering if anybody has experience with the Clean Air Fogger that Autogeek sells?

Have never used that brand but have used 3 or 4 others, they all seem to be about the same. From my experience with other sprays, it is more of a finishing product that adds a fragrance, try and find and remove the cause first.

Musty odor is usually the carpet or vent system, give them a close smell.

As far as a total release bomb they are way over kill, as the replacement fragrance (strong) is usually worse then the problem smell. I would try a 3 second spray once a day for 3 days first.

I've used them....Not too bad. I had to use two on a Caddy a couple of months ago (Chain smoker). I threw everything I had at that car, including the two foggers.

I use two on a minivan with dog smell it helped a little. it is not great won't remove strong odor. I just ordered CG odor remover we ll how it does

I can stand behind this product, used it last year after going to the Dolphin - Dallas game. Next day car smelled like we were grilling on the seats. Use the Clean Air in the A/C vents and the fogger inside the car to get it out of the seats. Worked better then I would have ever imagined! If you buy it and it does not work well, call me and I will personally refund your money, that is how highly I think of it. :2thumbs:

And just for FYI- I am not a Dolphins fan! :p

WHAT!!!???

I just lost a lot of respect for you, Meghan. :D

Well then I might just have to give it a try, Meghan. What did you think of the smell that the fogger left behind?

That is the only thing I'm worried about with trying this kind of product, since I generally don't like strong perfume/air freshener type smells.

I've used some of those (or another brand) for used car lots. Works for awhile, but as was mentioned, if there is something rancid causing the odor, my experience it's just a temp solution.

After you open the windows and air out the car there really is not smell left. Its not one of those that covers the smell with a new one, it just kills the odor.

my concern with using a fogger is that will I have to rewipe the entire interior? I mean fog will get everywhere but does it really not leave any residue or coating at all?

I just used one the other day to freshen up the car, its was just okay. I have another I'll have to save for something really bad. I like FK1 odor remover I think a bit better.

Cheers,

GREG

I did not find any coating left behind after using it.
