Anyone think that we QD too much?

I can do a quick ONR wash almost as quickly as using a QD and have less fear of marring.

+1.

I do pre-spray ONR at QD strength, but I agree; ONR washing really seems to be safer than QD'ing.

And I'm convinced that the Cali Duster and Waterblade are the roots of all things evil, and primarily responsible for global warming. And if they're capable of doing that, *imagine* what they're doing to your paint.

In my case, it's helping keep my car clean.

respponsible for global warming?!? come on man. I think the califorina duster is great. if you just take the time to shake them out real good every so often. its worked just fine for me.

I like ONR, but I also like QD.. As far as Im concerned, the difference between the two can really be ascribed mostly to the amount of fluid used.. To my way of thinking, born of experience from using both, spraying a slightly larger amount of a good QD than you might normally think of for a QD, and wiping the surface down and dry with it is very similar to using a product like ONR, or Protectall. Its all pretty similar. In both cases, you wet the surface, spread it around, and Dry the surface. The effectiveness, or harm, can be seen not in the QD or the rinseless wash, but in HOW they are used!

QDing only occurs after drying to add more slickness, boost protective coatings and clean the glass.

As much as I hate dust, I'm prepared to live with it and wash it once it's dusty enough.
