Anyone still using WG nowadays ?

UPP topped with WG sealant brought my paint up awesome with flake popping and insane reflections - I'm a fan of the WG sealant, very nice indeed.
Huh, whah ? Upp topped with WG ? Im also with the poster who replied it loses slickness after acouple washes.....It just didnt hit me as a real good product, durability, looks, slickness were all issues with me......I gave it away...

I had really poor durability with it. It did look good on the cars I used it on, didn't really seem to "mute" metallics or anything. Since the durability was similiar to a carnuaba wax, i'd rather just use a carnuaba :idea

btw I detailed my black RSX a couple days ago for my first day of school with Optimum Polish and UPP. I really couldn't believe how good it look, seemed to have really nice reflections and depth. I know I know pictures please. Whenever I had time it was heavy overcast skies. Maybe sometime next week if weather cooperates. I was originally going to order some TS for my car, but now i'm having second thoughs after seeing UPP on it.

I seriously hope you are not implying that Zaino is the easiest sealant to use

In application/removal, yes that's what I'm implying. The prep is not easy, granted, but once you're ready for Z2/Z5, it's a breeze.

:dance

I got some a while ago...loved it so I bought a 64oz bottle of it and havent used it since...man i can wait till abay is working... ;)

I don't get why Z is a hard sealant to use.

With Zfx, it hazes quickly and wipes off with the greatest of ease. There's got to be other people here that think so.??!!?

I never thought it was a 'hard to use' sealant, but rather not the easiest (of all sealants) to use. Just as an example, EX-P is much easier to use IMO. But there are many others I could list off as well.

The fact that you have to spend more $$$ on ZFX, mix it in, wait, use what you mixed within 12 hours or toss what is left is not really what I would call ease of use. Sure, it goes on very easy and wipes off with little to no effort but with most other sealants, I can just grab the bottle and git-er-done. ;)

Not meant as a dig at Zaino, to get the best results you have to use ZFX to layer or for the initial application. Zaino definitely outlasts Wolfgang though. :)

Alright, you got me there!

:bow

I still use it a lot and enjoy it. My new wheels just got AIO/WG last night, and another coat of WG this morning before installation. It wipes off with such ease, and leaves a very slick finish.

I think it looks okay... I didn't really like it on my dark metallic blue GTO, but it is so easy to use and will yield decent durability over AIO that it's a joy to use for those quick jobs. Plus it's really slick initially which always impresses me and customers.

The WG under my Souveran Paste Wax seem to haze. i did not like the look at all. Maybe I should have left the WG cure a little longer.

I've found I get my best results with Wolfgang when I use AIO as a base too. :)
