Anyone still use Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection?

I'm looking to buy a gallon of a new QD and haven't seen any recent posts of #34. It costs $22/gal and I can pick it up from the local auto body supply shop. Do the other QD's do a better job than Final Inspection?

Clear Kote Quik Shine

Optimum Instant Detailer

Optimum Car Wax

Finish Kare 425

Duragloss Fast Clean & Shine

Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer

others?

It really depends on what you are trying to do--I always considered the main point of #34 was that it was body-shop safe, which in the Autopian context meant that you could use it for a wipedown before applying a sealant and not worry about any bonding issues.

What is your main use? You've cast a pretty wide net with the QD's you've listed (including a wax/LSP).

Main use will be for...quick detailing. Looking for something for those light dust situations or daily wipe downs that will maintain or enhance gloss. I included the OCW because a few people have mentioned that they use it instead of an actual QD.

I guess I could get #34 for those in between polish wipe downs and something like FK425 for other situations?

#34 is still my favorite. I use it for quick detailing, clay lube, priming pads or applicators, removing hard to remove LSP which I rarely use anymore any ways. Never streaks for me even in very cold or hot weather. Smells great to not that it matters. Can get it in gallons locally so it's a great value. It's been around a long time and for good reason. It doesn't have the cool factor for the guys that like to make love to their products but thats OK by me.

i still use it a lot myself as said above but don't try to tape up after using it cause the tape won't stick very well you need to do a 50/50 wipe down .

I'm ordering some this afternoon.

Megs suggests it's use for when 105 is drying too fast and I have heard it's good for wiping away compounds like 105 that may actually mar if wiped away dry.

exactly what im tinking of doing. picked up both #34 and fk425

#34 will be used in between layers as my car is a DD, fk425 is maintenance over lsp for its anti-static properties since carnauba's are dust magnets
