I do, will it be ok? I wash them using the perm cycle with warm water and let it air dry.

How do you guys like your DAS pads? I find them not cutting as much as i had hoped (even the orange one).

Don't machine wash. You will destroy your pads. All I usually do is fill a bucket with hot water and Dawn before I start detailing. As I finish with each pad, I immediately throw them in the bucket and let them start soaking. By the time you are done detailing most of the polish will be at the bottom of the bucket, and all you need to do after that is rinse them out with a hose, and let them air dry.

I'm not a professional but when I was buying my pad from meguiars they said to just let them dry and then pat them off before you use them the next time. The only thing you have to watch out for is to mark the pads so you use the same kind of product the next time... polish pad use only for polishing all the time... cleaner use ,,, and so on... I found using a permanent marker when the pads are new or dry will work on clearly marking the pads so you know what product you used on it prior.

Also to answer you're concern about the pads not cutting... I found the number one reason I don't get the amount of cutting action that I'm looking for usually comes from over saturated pads. If you use less of a product it is usually better then oversoaking the pad which just causes the pad to splip and slide over the paint rather then working the paint like it should. I keep a clean light colored terry towel and I rub the pad down every so often to take old product off and I also keep the pad from becoming too saturated.
