Anyone Like Zaino?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......

Haha, just kidding. ;)

I guess it is ok but I use what I think looks better lasts longer cost less and is much easier to apply and remove so no I don't use it.

I have use Zaino off and on for over 10 years, and think its a good LSP (Z2 & Z5) with regards to durability. I could never understand why its called a polish, and cannot figure out why all the buzz about this product if its not used on paint this is not properly prepped. If the paint is not prepped to near perfection first, I think any LSP is waste !!! I can't for the life of me figure out why so many enthusiast are hung up on LSP products when the actual depth of gloss and paint perfection takes place during the prep and polishing process. Spend your dough on the best quality polishes and compounds. For me the most important quality of a last stage product is durability, and there are many products as durable as Zaino and are much easier to use.

Just my 2 cents. Sorry about the rant.

Never tried it though many on the 350Z forums rave about this stuff, I really don't think I am missing anything. I do plan to try this product over the fall & winter, just in case.

I agree very well put Dean.:bigups

I tried it several times back in the "OLD DAYS". The product then was more difficult to work with than other products I used and and comparatively expensive. It was a decent product but nothing about it kept me coming back. I'm sure the newer versions have resolved the issues I've mentioned but I just haven't had a reason to get back to it. There are many who make comparisons between Zaino and Duragloss. I like a number of Duragloss products but they are significantly less expensive.

I tried it and when everything was "perfect" it looked great and gave the car a slickness that was amazing. But, if forget something like do an IPA wipedown after polishing with any Menzerna polishes and your Zaino will last all of a week. I switched to Blackfire, easier to use, consistant results and just as slick!

I liked Zaino products because the people that I knew to be using Zaino products stressed the need for prep to get the best possible performance out of the product. I found it to do what it claims. Looks good and protects well.

I also found that if I stress the need for prep work, on the paint as I did with Zaino products, with the product that I use now I get similar results albeit not as long.

Since every product that I have in my garage has lasted a month it really was not necessary to continue using Zaino products. Longevity really is not a concern for me any longer.

The inability to order bulk sizes was also a determining factor.
