if so Ozium and done

i smoke in my truck Every day

i go home,spray ozium in the vents (use sparingly) and hit the ac circulate with truck on, shut door and come back 15 mins later or so
(this is my pre-date routine)
I`ve never had a single person say my truck smells like smoke

ozium is an industrial strength glycol sanitizer, Walmart has large bottle for 5 bux, lasts aridiculously long time

like YEARS

I`ve only bought 2 of the larger ones Ever

since i was 16, which was 16 years ago, lol

my truck has cloth btw, so i spray Poorboy`s air fresheners on it (they r anti bacterial too)

wish i was closer i could do that no problemo

steam ceiling etc too, smoke likes to stay there

If you want it removed, then its going to take a good apc, and if you have access to steam, a lot of that..

Pretty much every square inch of the Interior has to be cleaned of nicotine which sticks to everything..

Usually the worst places are the driver side dash, windshield, visor, seatbelt, ash tray/s, seat, carpet and floor mat, the entire headliner all the way back to the rear passenger side, the package tray (especially the seam where the package tray and the glass meets), and all of the back glass..

Then, the rest of the entire Interior.. :)

Well, steam is ideal, but if you don`t have it and are careful with the headliner more than anything else, it is possible to get it done..

Depending on how smoked it is, this can take twice as long as a normal Detail of an average dirty Interior..

You just have to be really disciplined and get every square inch of it..
And plan on using a lot of towels, microfibers, as they load up with nicotine...

You basically have to clean a spot, then clean it again and wipe with something very white like a cotton towel, so you can see what color comes off that spot..
When you see no more of that icky brown color coming off, then that spot is clean and you move to the next spot...

I have a huge amount of small, very white, cotton towels for this and every cleaning job I do.. I want to know if it`s really clean or not and white towels will show you everything better than any other color out there..

Steam just helps speed it up by going deep into the area, loosening everything up, so you can wipe it and/or extract it all out/off..

And Steam really gets the most incredible amount of dirt out of seat belts in the area where they go across the body and by the neck area... I have turned white towels brown just wiping the seat belts after spraying Apc, brushing, and steaming all the way through them..

We are talking Removal here... Not many people want to do that so they place a bomb thing in there to totally cover up the smoke smell, and sometimes, I hear it works...

But then, there are some of those things that people react very badly to, so this is not always a great way to go..

I personally have never used anything to cover a smell, etc., in a vehicle, but rather, go find the source/s of the smell/s and remove it/them, and then the vehicle has nothing but a Clean smell inside it..

Both when I do cigarette odor I also put a few drops of purify which is an essential oil from doterra that combats not only odor but what`s causing it as well. Then I also use an air purifier if needed

For the cost of having someone do it for you, you might as well buy a Mc Culloch 1385 steamer for this and any future uses. I have one and does good work on interiors.

Great idea, Civicclutch ref - Doterra Purify Oil !!!
I have a lot of their oils - they are all really good, pure, steam distilled product..
I knew they had it but I had never researched its make up or uses..

It started when I did a car for a really good friend and previous owner smoked heavily in it and meguiars apc concentrate mixed to 8-10:1 works amazing on the nicotine tar on vinyl, it pretty much melts it off without damaging the vinyl
