I have to wonder why your better and I am not!

Do you take a protein suppliment or special vitamins?

your not "boring old Matt"!!!!BTW~~~!!:D

Be careful fasting for extended periods without adequate protein intake...look into a protein-spared modified fast (PSMF) if you want to do it. You'll lose a good amount of weight and you won't lose a lot of lean mass this way. You can have protein shakes throughout the day, as popularized in the Velocity Diet, if you want to avoid solid food for a little while.

I do supplement with all kinds of different proteins (my pantry is full of them) but nothing special otherwise. Just vitamin D and a lot of fish oil.

I will look into that.

I know a hernia needs protein to heal also along with vitC and E so that is a concern for me with fasting.

I am also a vegan so its hard for me to find a good source of protein .

In fact I forgot to mention I was eating a new to me grain called quinoa when all this nightmare started . Its very high in protein and considered a super food and extreemly nutritious and recommended for vegans and people and is also gluten free.

I knew it was making me feel unusually full so I was only eating small amounts but then one night I cooked up a new batch and ate more than usual ,within 15 minutes of eating it my intestines and stomach went wild in spasm and started twisting around.

It could even be the true culprit to my condition I dont know .

Of course I stopped eating it and then researched it online found out many people are sensive to it or allergic to it and have violent reactions to it!

Yeah I know everyones going to tell me to start eating meat ,dont bother because its not going to happen! :D

Im starting my fast today, after I have my coffee!:D

Yeah I was going to say, quinoa can be OK if prepared properly but can still cause reactions with some people. I admittedly haven't researched much in the way of vegan protein sources since I totally cannot relate to that lifestyle :D but I know rice protein is pretty popular. Wish I could help you out more though.
