Anyone Hear of This Product

I have never heard of it. I was impressed by the pictures they had, the paint appeared very deep and wet looking.

It is very pricey, I mean the cheapest kit which is just the pads and product is $275.

What I found interesting is they mention that if you wax your car the fillers and solvents will eventually run off showing the same blemishes. However if you use their system which is a PC with polishing pads, a set of three polishes and glaze followed by a wax this will not happen.

I would try it but $275 is alot of money for something I could essentially replace the word GlossHaus with Poorboys for half the cost.

I see they are out of Califormia...I think you should try it and let us know:D

Also they say the way they describe the glaze makes it sound like its more like a polish. I always thought a glaze was a filler, with no abrassives.

Its to bad they just don't sell the product with out the pads.

The guy is about 30 miles from my house, I left a message for him...what this really looks like to me is a compound, polish and wax system. With instructions that help the novice go threw the steps taking the guessing game out of it...I know that you can get real good results with a PC but for true correction on SOME cars a rotary is needed.

You are correct about replacing that with PB or any-other comparable line for that matter at a fraction of the cost...this to me is nothing more than a private packaged line that he sells in a kit...again taking the guessing game out of it...and looks like instructional info that can help you walk threw the process.

Certainly a need for something like this for some, but the cost is over the top and what if you want to buy just one item to replace something that you have run out of, buy another kit?

Excellent point about when its time to upgrade. How did you stumble across this site?

I remember when I started to get heavy into detailing and I did a search it brought me here. I am curious if people do the same see this all in one item and assume its a good deal.

But like you said, it's a compound, followed by some polish and a glaze with a wax.

He had a ad on craigslist in the auto service area...I was making one for myself

Certainly a decent looking website and some nice pics but the real question is what are the ingredients in his products and are they a different chemical makeup.

There are only so many chemicals you can use for an auto polish and they all have their good and bad points.
many polishes contain paraffinic hydrocarbons, hydro treated naptha's, kerosene etc etc
CAS NUMBER 64742-47-8,64742-48-9, 8032-32-4 and 8008-20-6 and some aluminium oxide.

The best way to know if what your looking at buying is better or different is to ask for or look up the MSDS sheets and check out listed ingredients.
if they are the same numbers as above, don't buy the stuff as you've already got that.

One of my polishes contains morpholine (110-91-8) and because it does not contain alum oxide or other abrasives, it can be used as a polish/glaze on almost any surface to give a super high gloss wet look whereas menzerna and other products can not.
