Hey, John, I think you better lay off the suds!! You'll have more money left for detailing supplies!! :grinno:

Ha, still have some left over for suppliies. I have a good supply for awhile. I've spent alot of money on brew the last few months, LOL I have a good supply right now, but can do better. I'm in the checking out mode right now, will only stock what I really like in a few months. :spot

From Mendocino right? If so, I have some at home. Have not tried it yet.

I like the Spaten Oktoberfest Ur-Marzen comes in at 5.9%. Some others if you can find would be from Samuel Adams, Paulander, Victory, and Ayinger.

I haven't had this year's SA Octoberfest yet, but will probably pick some up. I'm definitely going to grab some Paulaner though, that's a given :)

Over at beeradvocate they rated it 81 which is low, I'm sure I will like it, but will try it out for myself.

Yes, those guys are hardcore; I know SA vary from year to year. Aren't the BA.com stats inclusive of all reviews though (ie, every year up until current)?

My H-Ps are very good this year...

Yes, all inclusive. Right now I'm having a couple of SA Hefeweizen's rated at 78, but I like them. I have not had a SA I've not liked yet, very nice tasting brew's.

Most likely will have a couple of Anchor Steam 02 Christmas Ale's today. Anyone else having a beer today?

Oh man, I don't have any and I could use one! Just did 5 cars today at the LVMOC Maintenance Madness Weekend, day 2/Detailing Day. I had lots of good help, didn't do them all myself.... converted some people from using old T-shirts and NuFinish. Got to use the rotary some more, tried some Lanka with mixed results (not enough time), brought some faded paint back to life. I'm beat, I'll try to write it up tomorrow.

Tom, thanks for the invitation but it seems we will be on a tight transit deadline so will not be able to take advantage of the opportunity. :hairpull

I have taken note of the recommended Beers on this thread and will be on the look out. :nervous:

NP Hemi57. If you see a string of 30 or so Miatas flying past, honk and wave! And if you are going to be stopping in the NE PA area for lunch, let me know and I'll clue you in on some places to stop that aren't McDonalds or Burger King.

Matter of fact, check here: http://www.roadfood.com

Tom, Miata? in OZ Mazda market those as MX5 :D

I'll keep a look out don't you worry about that. :wavey I am not sure what car Mr Hertz will allocate us. I usually go for the "Luxury" category so we have lots of room for the luggage and effortless cruising. The highest category of car they have at downtown Washington is "Premium", so it might be a Grand Marquise or "equivalent". Watch out for one of those on the highway being driven in a spirited manner. :chuckle:
