Actual arm speeds, breakdown phase & pressure are imperfection/damage dependent factors. Sometimes you can go a bit faster than this (with finishing liquids), sometimes you'll have to almost stand still.

I totally agree...every car and their imperfections are different and just like choosing the right pad/product it's the same with choosing speed, pressure movement, etc..
