Anyone have a list?

Lately I've been thinking about starting a checklist of cars I'd like to one day detail. Don't ask me why, but it just popped into my head, so I figured I'm probably not the only one who thinks of weird crap like this. Does anyone else have a "dream car" detailing checklist? If so, what's on it? Here's mine, in no particular order:

  • Lamborghini Gallardo- why not, it's a Lambo after all
  • Lotus Elise/Exige- Hopefully, my own in a couple of years
  • Pontiac Solstice coupe- I don't know why, but I love the shape of this car as a coupe
  • Cadillac CTS-V coupe- Just a menacing brute of a car
  • BMW E30 M3- One of my all-time faves. If it was my own, it would be a bonus
  • Audi RS4-Another favorite
  • Nissan Skyline R34-Probably will never happen :(
  • Ford GT-Always loved the GT40s, so this is a no-brainer

I'm sure there's more, but it's late and I can't think of any right now. What's on your list?

I don't really have a list (without it being too long that is), but honestly, I think for most of us, it would be the greatest privilage to detail one of every single make and model that's out there. From a Cavalier to a Buggati. Just can't beat that.

Mike,

there are a few I have never detailed, but one day will. I would have to say the one car I never detailed, but would love to is a Lamborghini Miura.

Maybe the most beautiful car....ever.

I don't do this for a living so I don't have a compelling desire to detail a particular car. But as a track enthusiest and performance driving instructor I do search out cars to drive, in more than spirited fashion, on the track. I've driven most contemporary sports cars and exotics but I wish I had the connections and deep pockets to drive some of the classic race cars of the past. Ferrari 333 and Porsche 917 would be on my short list. Great era. Beautiful cars.

Sorry, I should have specified that I'm just a weekender getting paid to have fun. It's gotta be different for real pros. And I'll accept your Bugatti, but I'll have to pass on any Cavaliers!

No fair Barry, nearly every car you touch would probably make it on my list.

If we're talking about cars I'd like to drive, that's a whole other list!
