Anyone ever try this polisher?

I am a big fan of Shurhold stuff for the boat. I have a brush and handle that is about as old as I am, and it still works perfect.

Looks like a winner.

I've seen the product a while back on the Shurhold website.

Honestly, I would pass on this product. Shurhold makes AMAZING marine detailing products that are durable and innovative. This buffer... not so much.

They appear to be marketing it well, I'm just not so sure that the market feels the same way.

Most marine detailers will not deviate from their tools. (Mikita's, PC's, and more) I think it's cool for the "DIY Boat Owner" to keep it in the garage, however, I just don't see that buffer being seen as even an option on the market.

It looks very similar to the Griot's Garage DA, but it has a GFCI built into the plug.

Not sure how the price compares with the PC/Meguiar's units, but, looks aside, the Griot's sure seems to trump it on specs.

I like the handle placement...

Wonder if you'd like it as much after using it for a while

The similar one on my Griot's was a bit of a vibration-transmitter, enough so that I ended up just holding onto the housing of the machine instead, the way I do with my PCs and rotaries.
