You still are not proving your point, once again name calling. You were owned on DB and there was no back peddeling and if you read the pm's I got from Nica you would have your tail between your legs. It just seems like you were the guy in high school that bullied around and no have to go around and call people names. Have fun over here being the little sissy boy you are with your name calling. I proved my point on DB and thats all there is too it, now you want to carry this on because I irked you anbd owned you on DB. You can not let it go, so who really got the better of who on there, just drop it like an adult and move on in life. It is sad to see that I bother you so much in your life that you are taking time out of your day to try and bash me on another forum. You are just showing members in here that you still have a childish mentallity. I hope someday you grow up and not let little things like this bother you or you will stress yourself to the point where it will affect your health.

Well, heres my point. If you keep responding to Mindflux, youre just as immature as you say he is. Mindflux, seriously keep your personal battles off this board. Who gives a flying fwack who's right or wrong or who backpedalled or who was owned?

Regardless, Vettekid, if what he quoted is what you said, I think you're very wrong and have alot to learn. The best detailers wouldn't limit themselves and their detailing skills, simply because its not the norm to mix products. The BEST detailers do what they need to do to get the job done, to get the car looking spectacular, without hurting the car. If that means cutting M105 with OP, then so be it. If it means using M105 completely by itself, then so be it.

If mixing were a big no-no, then manufacturers would never have introduced AIO's.

AW with FC&S is a great combo for quick refreshes. I cut OP with quite a few polishes and compounds, as I do work in different places, and the humidity and temperature can change drastically. And we all know how finicky Menz polishes are...

I am so sick of this forum and the constant bashing that is allowed to go on, and how the moderators never step in and stop it. We now have four people that are going at each other on one thread. On one hand you have Edwards944 and qwertydude who have been taking over thread after thread with their bickering, although I agree with qwertydude and I believe he is trying to contribute to the forum. On the other hand you have vettekid and mindflux who bring their problems from another forum to this forum and are allowed to do so. If the moderators don't do something about all of this soon, you are going to lose a lot of people who actually want to learn something on this forum instead of trying to keep up with who is arguing with who.

I have beein doing the very same thing. Everytime I get down to a small amount of QD or spray wax, I just add them to a gallon jug. I started with the OTC products I bought and added in a few ounces of the products I learned about on this forum. I must have 12 or better QDs and spray waxes mixed in. I also have done the same with sealants. I use a marker to note which ones I've added. I poured each into spray bottles and I keep them in my kit in the trunk. They work surprisingly well actually.

I've never mixed protectants before, so I'm gonna have to make me some 343, I always thought #40 was too weak looking, but didn't like the oily dust attracting gloss of Armor All.

I've done the same with FK425, AW, and DG521. Works extremely well. Makes one wonder how different the products really are besides scent and color...

While each of us has a different opinion on the subject of mixing products, there is absolutely no need for anyone to become uncivil or bring personal beefs from other boards onto here.

Consider this your first and only warning on the subject.

What ratio? what do you like about it

I mix it 1:1. I don't know the technical lingo but it had considerably more shine/gloss than using either one as a stand alone. I can't tell you about the durability since I haven't driven the car since last week when I applied it. I would guess that it won't last as long as AW typically lasts since the durability on FK 425 isn't much. But I always use some type of QD after I wash so it's not that big of a concern for me.

I started off by only mixing 2 ozs. of each in a small travel bottle I purchased at Target which suprisingly has a nice, fine mist. After I did the car, I mixed a 32 oz. bottle.

Discovered that Prima Swirl cut a bit more than IP so I decided to mix a bit of IP and PG together to try to get it the same. Don't know if I did it since my cars are pretty much perfect right now :nixweiss

i mix stuff all the time. it's all part of the detailing thing that we do. experiment, you never know what you'll discover.

as far as all this bickering is concerned it's really childish imho. we're all here for one purpose and that's to learn something to better our detailing goals, don't bicker with one another, let's all just get along, ther's enough of that going on in the rtest of the world please don't do it here' thanks.:bow
