We're having a discussion on an Oldsmobile board about faded plastic fenderwells. Has anyone ever successfully restored anything like this? I was wondering if wetsanding/polishing would work like it does for headlights. Haven't had any luck finding much on the 'net. It's all about the hard clear plastic.
Anyone ever restore colored plastic?

With all the debris that constantly blasts your fender skirts, I doubt anything would hold up. They can't be that expensive, probably less than $100 for a pair(depending). nothing looks better than a new looking wheel well skirt.
I've used my PC and Rotary with the Poorboys SSR line on various plastic toys and items. End results varied from "hey that looks better" to "hell yeah that looks brand new". The PC with a 4" pad is easiest to use. As long as the plastic isn't porous and the color is in the plastic (vs some sort of finish) it should improve greatly. I suppose if you couldn't get it to shine like you wanted with polishing alone you could spray it with Krylon Fusion paint. Not sure if they make a clear though.
