Anyone ever have a hard time getting motivated to do a detail?

I must be sick because there is almost nothing I'd rather do than detail my vehicles. I find it a relaxing and creative outlet. I always feel good about it when I'm done, though I keep in mind that I am doing the detail for today as it will not last.

Other chores I have to do during the week: Work as a full time veterinarian and manage the hospital I own and need to maintain. Care and maintain my primary residence and the in laws residence as they are in their 80s. Care and maintain a second home on a "farm"of 20 acres with about 2 acres that I mow. Care for our dogs (I am a German Shepherd fanatic), cats, and on the farm take care of the chickens and our horse. Also a wife, a child in college, and a child in high school are on my agenda.

Having said alll this, nothing is as difficult as two young children. At that point in life there is no time for anything else.

You know what dude, My respect goes out to you. That is a busy lifestyle.

Having a girlfriend and a wife on the side, running a brothel as a side job and the permanent coating of malted hops and bong resin on my brain definetly takes it out of me but the ladies love the shine so I keep it clean, pimpin ain't easy:p

I don't get it when it comes to motivation. Thank god I am self motivated I guess you have to be when you are self employed. I have always said if I don't have business it's nobodies fault but my own. Up at 4:30 I am polishing cars at 5:30 when most others are sleeping. I will make more money by 9am than most people will makle all day. No phone calls, just hard work getting done early.

I am usually pretty motivated to do my Jeep (hell, it takes no time at all) but what kills mer is when my wife sees me gettign all my stuff out and satrts in guilting me into her car (otherwise known as the rolling dumpster) first and as I usually am at my office 6 days a week from 6A to around 7P it can be a motivation killer.

With a F-350 Crew Cab Long bed and a Expedition sometimes it's hard to get motivated with all that metal staring me in the face. But knowing I have a truck that is 7 years old and that it looks better then most vehicles a year old is what gets me going. Plus all the compliments I get about our vehicles helps.
