Does anyone else use S100 Engine Brightener? I've been using it for a while now, and I really, really like it when compared to CD2 and/or Meg's Engine Kote. It's a bit more expensive, but I think it looks and works very well when it comes to having a nice even coat on the engine, and it lasts quite a long time as well. I just pick it up at the local H-D shop.

Here's a couple engines I've done with it:

Anyone with thoughts/comments?

Have you used Poorboy's Bold N Bright yet? The shine on that plastic looks similar to what I see using that product.

How much are you paying for this product at your dealership? It might be something worth looking into. I've got several engine products that I'm experimenting with right now as I try to ween myself off the CD2. Crack is easier to get my hands on than that stuff, so I need to find a new drug of choice it seems.

Nope, can't say that I have tried B'n'B.... it's on my "must try" list for this season, though. :)

I get the S100 stuff for something like $8.29 for a can, and I can get maybe 3-4 engines out of one can. And from what I've seen, that shine can last up to a month or so, even when wiping the engine down with a damp MF to get surface dust off....

Pig Spit will be more economical (larger can).....but keep your straw that came with the S100.

Cool.... either of you guys have pictures showing what the "look" from those products is? And/or durability reports? I'm just curious to know if they're pretty much comparable, even though I'll probably end up trying them myself, too....

This is the new Mustang after treatment with the In and Out. Now granted the car is new but this stuff was not looking good from the factory it was filthy and had a whiteish haze to it. I treated the car after cleaning it completely the day i got her home and this pictures was takena month later with just a couple S&W wipe downs in between. I like to spray it on let it sit for awhile and then give it a fast wipe down to even it all out.
