Wow!! That's a really nice setup you got there :bigups

All of a sudden, i don't feel bad about all the money spent in the last 3 months on Rupes polisher / pads / polishes, compounds. Sonax, 22PLE, opti coat etc.....lol.

Are those room treatments you have there? What kind if anything special? I like the monoblock stands btw.

Thank god (for my money) I haven't got into vinyl yet. I got convinced by a good friend to make an investment on music (CD set up for now).

I listen the same as the OP + rythm&blues. I am trying to build my 'knowledge' from the ground up. Allmusic is just great for that.

Closest thing I have to vinyl is a non working vintage phonograph from 1920 or so. Ive done some basic detailing on it as I keep it an office furniture piece.

Damn you, Styrnol!

Ever since you posted this two weeks ago I can't stop thinking about turntables!

(Awesome rig you have there, by the way.)

Haven't bought any new vinyl in many years but I kept all my old stuff. Haven't played any in years either, even thought the home theater receiver that replaced my two-channel gear actually has a phono stage.

My old turntable is under a pile of microfibers to keep the dust cover from getting scratched. (The household predators love sleeping on top of it.) It was always meant as a stopgap until I could afford to buy a decent deck but CD's came along, my lifestyle changed, yada, yada, yada and I never got around to upgrading.

Now you went and got me started scanning ebay for Linn's and SOTA's and other stuff I can't afford and probably wouldn't be able to use much anyway. Hmmmm, maybe if I can find an old AR to hotrod.....

Get yourself a Record Cleaning Machine and start listening. If you need a new TT, just get a Rega RP1 bundle and start playing some vinyl again.

Cool, nice to see someone else into vinyl/music.

All I've got are a pair of B&W speakers that I listen to Chuck Berry (showing my age :) and some Bach Piano Concertos.
