Anybody in Philadelphia area have a paint depth guage for fiberglass?



I have some RIDS in the hood of my Viper GTS that I would like to possibly try to remove via wetsanding but want to get an idea of how much paint is actually on the hood before I have at it.



I will certianly take care of you for your troubles/travel time etc...

I have a paint gauge but I am pretty sure it doesn't do fiberglass. If you need to check other stuff you are more than welcome to stop by and use mine.

Thanks Pat. From what I hear the ones that do fiberglass cost thousands of dollars. I do not expect too many people to own one, maybe high end detail or body shop owners that are raking it in. The way the insurance industry is going I do not think there are many body shops raking it in.
