Any one ever have spider crap all over there car

First, relax, detailing and anger dont go together. Second, you may want to run a search there is a ton of information here that can help you. I will start you on your way though.



First, how do you plan to do this? By hand or by machine?



You may want to look into purchasing a PC (Porter Cable Dual Action buffer). It has the power to remove defects more effectively than by hand.



As for polishes to remove the defects. Menzerna, Meguiars DACP(Dual Action Cleaner Polish), and Einzeit polishes are very popular here. Also, I would look into poorboys, their super swirl remover line is great and can be used in the sun. I think they have one of the most complete detailing lines and would be a great place for you to start. You can check out:

Just to name a few.
 
I will sometimes have spider webs that have blown out of nearby trees on my car. And as for strange poop, I think I need to take a picture of the incredibly small poop that gets on my car. Thinner than a toothpick, about 1 cm long, and tannish brown. I think it's from dragonflies or something.

Yeah, don't take breakneck's advice if you are actually talking about spider poop. Insect excrement. Arachnid dung.



His advice was for spiderwebbing which is a name for a scratchy paint damage effect....



Some confusion going on here.
 
What have you tried on it so far?



Maybe try some bug/tar remover if you can't use some more normal soaps/cleaners...
 
How big are the spiders in your area? If tiny ones, a stronger car wash solution may do it with a minute or two of soaking. Bug/tar remover should work, too. If it has fermented (I mean dried) on your paint for awhile, clay may be needed. A good polishing and wax after would be a good idea.

If the spiders are really huge, same things should work just on a larger scale. I'd also call an exterminator because I'm not fond of spiders.

Interestingly, I've found the spiders in my area like to go tree to tree, trailing a long single strand of their web behind them. This "line" then falls on my car, and once dried, is almost like a cement. A very strong car wash solution allowed to dwell on the surface a minute dissolves it. But a normally mixed car wash solution has no effect no matter how long the dwell time.



To help prevent any stains from the spider crap, I'd suggest a good sealant or wax. This will also make future cleanings much easier.

Thanks Dave...The poo has been stuck on there for awhile and it will prolly take some work to get off. BTW what is clay and were can I get some of it. I'm a n00b to the art of detailing so please bare with me

Moth balls stored in garage might help.



Dragon fly poop, or wasp poop, not sure, comes off easily with washing. I might have to poke at it with my finger since the mitt is so gentle.
 
Spider poop! Yeesh, I just have to ask....how do you know it's from spiders. And it's all over your car? I can't stand those things. I am a man of nature, content to share the world with all creatures...but spiders freak me out.
 
I looked it up on the net... found it on some online field guide. I drive a 300zx. 10$ will buy me what I need? Thanks Guys Ill post some before and after pics once I get finished.

I had a spider hide in my wheelwell when I was at my lake. It was about 9 inches in diameter. I scared the **** out of me, it went scurying across the paint shitting all over.

I cannot say that I have a problem with spider dung, but I do have a problem with lizard dung in my gargage. I have little whit geckos running around my garage and they deficate on everything. It is a pain.
