Any ideas to remove gum from leather seats

I have an appointment for this weekend and she has black leather seats with gum on the passenger side seat. It's stringy, not a big hunk if that helps, it's a convertable and she believes it flew in some how. It is odd, I've seen it but never tackled it. I will this weekend and I want to remove it all. Any tips or products that would work would be helpful.

Steam might work. A citrus based adhesive remover would likely work too but it may discolor the leather.

Agree with the ice cubes. It'll freeze up, harden and pop right off. A 'light" application of goof off will work but be careful with the leather. Less is best

Freezing may crack leather!

Steaming may shrink leather!

Tips for Safe Gum Removal Process - Prep-7.7 > Leather Eraser-4 > Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.

This sequence of removal process works without damages to the leather finishes.

Thereafter, application of a non-stick protector (Leather Scent-B or equivalent) will make future removal of sticky substance much easier.

You will never regret my recommendation.

Because It works!
