Any gamers on board??

I am wondering if we have many gamers/multiplayer here and if so which games do you all enjoy. I mainly play PC games and enjoy UT but I am real big right now on Call Of Duty and United Offensive.



I play for a clan and we have some great fun killing each other :laugh: Nice stress reliever :furious:



I am looking forward to Call of duty 2...anyone else?

Mostly single player on Xbox, PS2, and GC. Favorite games right now are Mercenaries/Xbox, GTA San Andreas/PS2, and Mario Sunshine/GC.
 
Yeah, I play a lot of Far Cry, Battlefield 2, World of Warcraft, Grand Turismo 4, GTA SA. Great time waster/stress reliver. The only downside about PC games is the cost of hardware. I just bought a 1500 dollar laptop, 128MB card, Athy 3500+, and it won't run BF2 on high :(. Guess I'll have to build a gaming desktop.
 
I play all the games but I do not play MP because there are too many idiots that ruin the exoperience. SP is fine for me. Sorry.
 
I run a pretty popular Counter Strike server and we have a decent community following (www.ctrl-alt-l33t.com). Probably switch over to Counter Strike:Source in the next week or two.



I used to play a lot of Kingpin multiplayer and was in one of the top clans for about the entire run of the game.
 
I play a good bit.



On PS2 It's mainly GT4. Really the only reason I got PS2... lol



On computer I like the MMORPG and FPS games. Play counter strike right now. Really the only FPS I have installed other than battlefield 1942.



I also signed up for the free year of Anarchy Online so I've been playing that game. They've really fixed a lot of the problems they had when this game first came out.
 
For those who have had a bad multiplayer experience need to come over and play some COD united offensive on my clans server. uZa is the nameof the clan and we are all pretty much older guys and we do not put up with any childish junk. We also have a Half Life server running if that's what you are into.



I hav eplayed Far Cry alot lately but have yet to finish the game. Medal Of Honor and Call of Duty though are my main games at the moment.



I am told that the BF2 multiplayer while nice graphic wise is a pain to play so it will most likely burn out quick, especially when COD2 is released.



If anyone is interested in playing Call Of Duty on a nice server let me know and I'll post up the IP address.

I've heard a lot about COD but haven't tried it yet. Is it worth getting and what is it similar too? More like Battlefield 1942 or more like Day of Defeat?
 
I definately play games. Started out with HL and it's mods, CS and DoD mostly, then shifted to CoD a little later on. I still love that game, UO even more so. All my friends really like Battlefield 2, but I'm not really into it, feels like a Delta Force remake (and those games I do, love, I think I own every one, I've got like 7-8 of em).



To answer Intel's Question, CoD is kind of like a mix between the two. There are various game types you can play, like domination (like DoD but bigger maps) Headquarters (setup adn keep a specifc point) seek and destroy (pretty obvious) and the old favorite CTF. I really like it for the variety of game play you get, plus in UO you get to drive some awesome vehicles. My favorite is the jeep, 'cause you can do donuts in it :D . Multiplayer Starting to play Battlefield 2 and looking to pick up Call of Duty
 
I played Air Warrior for years; it was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I made friendships that I carry to this day. When EA bought and killed it in 2001 I tried switching over to Aces High, but it wasn't the same. I never managed to conquer the interface and the gameplay never became second nature, and I drifted away.



If anyone here plays Aces High, next time you're in the arena tell 'em Mosca says "baaaaa".

I started playing BF2 recently. I enjoyed BFV for a bit, so I thought I'd try it out and now I'm hooked :) I'm willing to put up with the bugs because I'm having too much fun!
 
I have played a number of games and game types over the past, but the current game that is getting all of my attention is Guild Wars. Its relitively new, and doesnt seem to be as popular as some other games in its class, but I still find it to be really fun. I'm and officer in a guild with a number of my real life friends, plus all the random internet people you meet :). Its a lot of fun.

I have all 3 consoles but I mostly play Halo 2 on XBL. When not playing H2, I play NWN with my wife. :woohoo:
