Any experienced rotary/PC users in Tampa area willing to teach a newbie?

If you guys could wait until August that would be great!

I'd be willing to drive out to lakeland for a meet, but i'm probably one of the closer ones.

Whats up Justin, its Nick.

Great! That's at least four or five, plus me. Didn't mention that I don't know squat. Got a bucket, a PC, clay and some chemicals, but I'm dangerous! GATORS, can we count you in (you mentioned July)? Any other Pro's out there? I'd love to see some rotary action. Plenty of POS test vehicles here in good old Polk County, FL to experiment on (most of them in my family.)

Sorry, Nick... didn't see your post... guess I was writing. July or August are both probably good for me. I suppose that the main consideration is who can we line up with some expertise? And what time works for him/her?

I don't see any problem driving to Lakeland, anytime in july or august is fine for me, just post it at least 2 or 3 weeks in advance so i can make sure i'm free that day.

Well I live in Ft. Myers but go to school at USF so thats why I was askin. If I cant make it, Jscort98 will show me some tips (he lives down the hall from me).

Late july/early august would be best for me cause ill still be outta school and ill be back from vacation. Did anyone else have another time frame they wanted or will that be alright?

Nick, can you make it up here before school starts?

If we are looking at early August or late July, early August would be best for me. I have a couple concerts and my dad's birthday the last week of July.

As soon as I can work out some details, I'll throw a prospective date out. I'm assuming that Saturdays work best for most of us?

I would like to think I qualify as having "some" expertise.

Saturday, July 26th works best for me. I can't count on being in town every weekend due to my work.

Nick and Jscort, I apologize for not being able to make it later. I'm a USF grad (about a hundred years ago) and I understand your schedules. You are both welcome at my place anytime when you're in the Tampa area.

So, how do we do this without putting my home address and phone number on the internet in perpetuity? How about dropping me an email at [email protected] ? I'll return the full details.

Looking forward to meeting all of you,

JohnHenry
