Any experience removing cone rash from wheels?

I participated in and Adult Car Control Clinic sponsored by the local BMW club. I would highly recommend the class for anyone wishing to improve their car control skills.

Needless to say I killed a few cones. I polished out the marks on the body work but the wheels have what appears to be a build up of cone material. It looks like curb damage but its clearly higher than the base of the wheel. I tried to pick at it but thought someone may have some experience removing this material.

I third the clay and polish. Ask me how I know. :)

I totally agree with your suggestion to do the car control clinics or even high performance track days. I instruct at various events for BMW, Porsche and Audi and it's amazing how much a person can learn at these events. Good stuff.
