Any detailing classes or events near Illinois?

Hey guys, I haven't posted much on here since the change of the page, but I'm always reading what you’re all writing.

I love learning and honing my skills and I'm wondering if there are any classes, group gatherings or business that provided extra training near Illinois. I've search the web and forums extensively for anything in Illinois or neighboring states (WI, IA, MO, KY, IN) that host any kind of classes.

I'm not aware of anything, but I am toying with the idea of trying to get something together at some point this summer here in Michigan depending on how many people jump on board; in another week or so I'll have time to focus on putting out some preliminary feelers.

Ive never heard of anything either. Being from the most southern part of the state possible, I would be hours away anyhow since it would most likely be in the Chicgoland area. A few years ago on another forum some guys tried to get a class and competition together in St Louis but it never happened.
