Any big Adams followers out there?

Copycating the CG thread. What about Adams?
I`m a recovering QD addict, and Adams Detailer was/is a favorite. I also have Butter Wax and it leaves a great look, better than some expensive waxes, but longevity... meh.

Any fans?

I have used a few:

1. Soap (pink) - liked this a lot
2. Soap (new blue) - liked this too. like the Adam`s pump dispenser
3. Carpet Cleaner - no smell, no suds - works but pricey. Not like CG Nonsense
4. Adam`s Detail Spray (older formula) - liked this. Some claim it was a CG speed wipe clone but always felt Adam`s was more substantial
5. Fire Hose Nozzle - pricey but really like it and use it all the time

Adam`s has good bottles/sprayers in my experience.

I`ve only heard good thing about Adams but haven`t used any of their products yet.

IMO Adams has good stuff and a lot of newbie car guys love their stuff. The issue for me is there are so many other options out there that are similar or even better at a better price point.

Love their old soap, haven`t tried the new one, and I tried some of their APC when Meguiars discontinued APC+, it works pretty well, and the scent is much better than Meg`s. Other than those two, most of their line is priced too high for me.

I`ve actually never tried anything they make. I`ve always heard good things but it`s usually from the car enthusiast crowd and not always coming from detailers. I honestly think the price point keep a lot of detailer away and it`s simply not carried by the online stores I have wholesale pricing with.

I`ve never tried their products yet but I`ve always wanted to try their detail spray because I heard so much good things about it.

I have alway been a pretty diehard VRT fan. I have always loved the look on my tires and have had decent durability, which others have complained about.

I recently tried out their new tire dressing and it is "ok". Durability was subpar and the look was to much for me on my car.

Have used their waterless wash and QD a few times. Both worked well but the WW streaks pretty badly if you use too much product. I feel like PB Spray and Wipe is a better product and value than both.

Their APC seemed like a pretty good product. It always seemed to work well for me when cleaning plastic trim. But at their APC price I rather just buy Optimum Power Clean. I believe OPC is more versatile and works better.

There are just to many other products that are just as good or better at a better price point.

Only things I use of theirs are the Interior Detailer and I still have some blue soap but do not plan on buying either when they run out. I used the old wheel cleaner and the undercarriage spray also and wasnt wow`ed by them either.

Interior Detailer I now use Megs #40 and soap is usually CG or Megs 111

I``ve used some of their products. They do have some nice products.

Shampoo (blue) - Very good shampoo. The previous red version was good as well.

Guard & Gloss - This is a great product. On it`s own, I have seen 3 months out of it.

Their Liquid Paint Sealant is good as well. I`ve used it a few times and it works as advertised. This and guard & gloss work well together

VRT - For me it was ok. Nothing special. Was a bit to greasy for trim. It is very similar to Meguiar`s D163 Tire & Trim Gel. I sold VRT away. It is not missed one bit.

Interior Detailer - I was not a fan. I traded that stuff away. Was to streaky.

Tire Shine - I traded that away as well. Was not a fan of it. Durability was like any typical tire product.

APC - was ok. I thought it was a bit on the weak side compared to Meguiar`s D103 APC+ at 10:1. Good thing I only purchased one bottle

Detail Spray - Good but it`s not the best QD out their. I find Meguiar`s M34 and D155 Last Touch to be just as good, if not better

Leather Conditioner - I traded for a bottle of this and this one is pretty good. The benefit is that it can be used on all surfaces to dress them.

Waterless Wash - The previous version was not that impressive. Not sure about the new one.

Quick Sealant - This was great. Very durable and could be applied on any surface. Works great on wheels. VOC`s got this one. I have one or 2 can`s left and my stock is depleted.

Now that they have gone to smaller quantity amounts (8 oz on some products), it is hard to justify the cost.

Thanks for the reviews!

Detail Spray - Good but it`s not the best QD out their. I find Meguiar`s M34 and D155 Last Touch to be just as good, if not better

Do you think that the adam`s detail spray is the exact same as Last Touch? Color is similar.

I`ve used pretty much every product they carry on and off for a few years now with no issues (other than the price as stated), I use other manufactures stuff as well (Optimum, megs, mothers, CG, GG, PB, 303, etc) depending on what I`m doing and if it`s for me or a paid car. I haven`t found anything that didn`t work well (OK, I`m not a fan of the clay), only some stuff that wasn`t maybe as impressive as the cost might warrant.

Detail spray - really like when I`ve compared to megs, lucas, mothers and a few others. I can recommend without issue
Glass cleaner - I also use stoners non-aerosol, (and windex, megs and CG) and the Adams I`d say is maybe slightly easier to use (less wiping). I use the Adams on my own cars (and house) and stoners most everywhere else. Need good rags though
Total Interior detailer - I really like, I also use CG which performs just as well but can streak on smooth surfaces easier and doesn`t seem to repel dust (anti-static?) as well/long as the Adams
H2O G&G is great stuff, I use about every 3-4 week on the DDs and it`s noticeable how well it boosts the beading alone. I haven`t used any comparable product.
Rinseless wash - excellent, I have several bottles at various dilutions for clay lube, bug removal, waterless and rinseless washing (and door jambs) etc. comparable with ONR and Megs, maybe slightly more slick
Brilliant glaze - works great as a quick filler if you don`t want to do a full correction right away
APC - stuff works great and not too pricey. I do use simple green for probably 70% of the time, megs degreaser (4:1) for heavier work and the APC for really stubborn stuff. I`d use something else if it was as effective and cheaper, just haven`t found anything yet.
Americana wax - like most other higher quality wax, does go on and buff out very nicely. Seems more temp/humidity sensitive than some others I`ve used

Soap (blue or red) - I like better than megs but it`s not groud breakingly different than any other quality stuff. Definitly slick though
VRT - I really like for tire dressing and on the textured plastic (bumper, mirror, etc) but I`ve also compared it to Optimum Tire Gel (junkman put me onto that stuff) and I`d say it`s pretty much exactly the same performance/looks
Carpet / upholstery cleaner - works very well, so does folex at about 1/2 the price
Compounds and polishes, pretty user friendly. I still use but tend to use megs (m105, m101 and m205) more often as it seems to get there faster
Leather cleaner - like any others I`ve used
Leather conditioner - like any others, maybe not as greasy as megs
Pads, and MF, good quality stuff but pricey. Currently get all my MF from TRC and pads from whoever has quality stuff on sale

Yeah This ^^^. Also, Adams isn`t on PBMG sites I don`t think, or on DI. I like that the packaging is low-hype. Anyone used Revive polish? It`s stated for use by hand. There should be more polishes that are designed for use by hand.

Their stuff looks interesting. I see too many of their Ads on Facebook and ironically all it doesn`t is annoy me and make me not want to buy anything from them.

Almost every freshly detailed Mopar/SRT I`ve seen on Facebook Mopar car groups and SRT forums have a row of Adam`s products in front of it and looks great. The owners swear by Adams (kind of reminds me of how CG was so available to me so that`s what I started off using).

Next, on my list is Poorboys and Polish Angel products.
