Guys, I have to back up its claims from the Sal and from those who has already used it. This is what I did and by no means, you have to do what works best for you so I don't want to hear anything otherwise.

-Wash

-Clay

-Wash

-Apply Menzerna IP w/PC(BTW, now I know that you haven't detailed your car until you use at least a PC or rotary!)

-Apply Menzerna FP w/PC(Again, I used my new 7424)

-Wash

-Zaino Z2 Pro by hand

-Zaino Z8 Finale Spray

I have always kept my TL clean since I bought it brand new, but this is the first time I have used a PC and Zaino Z8 and I can say is WOW!!!!!!! Especially after applying z8 a couple times, you can really see the paint pop. Z8 is amazing guys! It's worth every penny!:xyxthumbs

Remember you can apply additional coats of Z2-PRO on top of the Z8 after a wash if you desire.

Z8 is a very nice addition to the Zaino line. :xyxthumbs

I thought Z-8 was just going to be a QD. I didnt realize that it would be durable. I could see the difference after I put it on, and it didnt wash off.

Z8 = spray sealant for the Z polishes.

I had to use Z8 yesterday as an emergency protectant. The weather guessers stated a clear day. The SUV is too big for my underground detailing bay (garage) and the classics will not be pulled out of other garage because the pollen is horrendous.

Therefore, I was detailing outside. Washed, clayed and started to polish with the Zaino paint/cleanser and I felt a few drops of rain. I quickly grab my small spray bottle of Z8 and apply a coat over the 2 completed portions of the vehicle (hood and one fender). Not sure if Z8 actually bonded but the weather continued to shower every hour and the beading look tight. This could be a combination of factors - clean (polished paint will bead), Zaino cleanser/polish has some of the Z polymers in it (not privy to that info) or the Z8 does in fact seal.:xyxthumbs

I do know that this morning the polished areas are not water spotted and as clean and glossy as the rest of the vehicle.

When I spoke to Sal he assured me that Z8 wouldn't wash off with water so it's definitely a step above the typical QD.

After I wiped down my car with some water I can really appreciate the results of the Z8. Good stuff and ultra slick! :xyxthumbs

Oh yeah, I knew that!:D

In fact, I already did that......Zaino has really, really kicked it up a notch....good job Sal!!!!!!!

Now, the only problem I now have is that, I am finding myself reaching for z8 alot. I have to give my z6 some more love!:p

Another use for Z8: I used it on my cultured marble bathroom sink and chrome faucet. It made the surface very slick and has held up for nearly a week. Looks like Z8 will be my bathroom sealant from now on, because it's so easy to apply. Next up is to try it on my fiberglass tub/surround.

I bet it would work, but the results over Z2Pro makes me think sticking with the system is the best course to take. The Z8 is formulated for Zaino Sealants.

Can you use Z8 on top of other sealants, e.g. Mothers Synwax?
I did that very thing yesterday. I had SynWax on my WRX, and was curious to try Z8 that I'd just picked up. I washed with 1Z Perlz, QDed with Z6, then added Z8. Very easy to use, extremely slick after buffed off, and it did add a noticeable gloss to an already shiny surface.

My guess is that Z8 will work to provide temporary slickness and bling to a lot of different LSPs, but it will probably only be durable on top of Z2 or Z5.

I was amazed at how the water just comes right off of the hood when driving down the street after Z8. Its like a freaking water repellent. Love this stuff

Excellent conclusion. :bow

Z8 was designed to "bond" to the Z line of polishes. Any other use on other LSP's may not produce the same "durability but you sure will be "looking good" while the Z8 is there. :xyxthumbs
