Another use for Vanilla Moose and Moose Wax

Bored yesterday with the finish looking flawless ( within realities borders) and nothing really to do I decided to ultra-detail my clearcoat wheels. Normally I would shampoo (if dirty), use a cleanser wax ( Mother's :up ) re-wash with Dawn and protect with my remaining Zaino. This regimen offered excellent protection but required a great deal of time ( washing, polishing, washing Zainoing (ZFX), waiting for Zaino to dry/cure, buff.

Well I decided to use some Vanilla Moose(VM) and Moose Wax(MW). These products are sealant-like and offer cleaning and protection in quick easy steps. While testing VM and MW on panels of my Lexus I noted the slick, smooth, cleansed, deep and shiny results. I thought this would be great for clearcoated wheels.

It was!!!:bounce

I used a cotton applicator and worked the VM and to my astonishment the wheels appeared "brighter"(deep cleansing and polishing), shiny and extremely slick.:xyxthumbs . No drying time and buffing was effortless. For added protection I topped with MW and "BAM" finished. Each already clean wheel took a total of 10 leisurely minutes - polish, glazed and waxed, Outstanding:bow :bow

Is there no end to the wonders of Clearkote products?

I used Moose Wax on my wheels when I first got some last year. It looked real nice, but I haven't tried both Vanilla Moose and Moose Wax. Thanks for the tip!

Actually Scott you have it backwards. Because of one of your earlier post about the fact that VM has some protective value that I even tried this procedure. Initially I only intended to clean/polish and protect with VM because of your post, but since the MW is so easy to apply I added the second step.

After doing this wheels cleaning with VM and MW I figured that this was one of your master detailing secrets that you kept to yourself. ;) :D

Not really, when I used Moose Wax on my wheels, it was last summer before Vanilla Moose was available. :nixweiss

Now that I have both though....:p

Scott ,

What I meant was because you mentioned that VM has some protective properties earlier this week, it gave me the idea about using the cleaning ability of VM on clearcoated alloy wheels( one-step cleansing and protection). If you never mentioned this fact about VM I would not have thought about using it for this purpose ( wheels). VM = clean and slick and easy to do.

What's better than slickness for decreasing the grime normally attracted to wheels.:xyxthumbs

That's why I go:bow :bow, Scott

Greg,

I saw your 91 black BMW after Clearkote VM,MW and QS. Looks outstanding.:xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs
