Oh boy. On top of what we have already! Looks like we will be calling the plow monday morning. ( He does it for $25). And getting to work in the afternoon is going to be interesting.

Dress warm, it's cold out
be careful driving, it's slippery out
make sure you have food and medicine on hand

People are stupid and need to be told what to do, and how to act....................................
 
The simple lack of common sense amazes me. You really have to wonder how so many people even made it into adult hood.

On the other hand, just because they put out a message for the stupid people doesn't mean those of us that aren't stupid should be offended. And once in a while I can use a reminder because once in a while I do something really stupid (maybe even more than once in a while). And maybe we're looking at this the wrong way--maybe it's not that there are too many stupid people, maybe there are too many lawyers that sue for the stupid people when they do something stupid--so now there is all this risk aversion on the part of, oh, say, the NWS and state and local gov't so that they don't get sued because someone goes out in the snow and runs off the road and freezes to death in the blizzard.

Pats300ZX is the guy to ask about this, about whether he winds up doing stupid things just to make sure there is no liability (and I don't even know what organization he is in), I know my retired cop friend would tell me the stuff that they would have to do just to make sure they didn't get sued later.
 
Couple of more years and me and the wife are out of here!

Then we just have to worry about Hurricanes and Tornadoes!

Supposed to get 9" here overnight. I have a 6am flight to San Diego tomorrow morning. Those 2 statements together equals 50/50 chance I get out of here.
