Another product recommendation thread..

As the title states, I'm trying to figure out which combination of products would give me my best bang for the buck on my Titanium Pearl Galant. From what i've read, people have had a lot of success with the AIO + UPP combo on silver cars, but would this darker grey give the same results? Should I try this? Only reason i'm asking is that I'm on somewhat of a tight budget and don't have the money to experiment with products myself. So I ask you my fellow autopians, what combination of products shall I use?

Here's a pic of basicly the same car, but this is not mine. (I've hardly had any nice enough days to clean her up and take pics)

Remember my friend, the bulk is in the prep. Concentrate more on getting a smooth, clean finish, then your choice of wax/sealant to lock it in. IMO, you will get varying results on what you pick, but it's never going to be very drastic, imo (unless it's a psychological thing where spending more makes your mind think it'll look much better).

You could do this:

Car A) Claymagic clay bar kit, ScratchX, NXT

Car B) Sonus clay, AIO, PO160FF, VM, Souveran

I wouldn't notice a damn thing between the two. You may feel that one is slicker, but why are you touching your paint! Your fingers are marring the finish! Now you need to repolish that spot!

That's really one of those borderline colors between light and dark shades. Personally, I would go AIO/Natty's Blue and focus on ataining wetness.

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. I wasn't really sure about the color of my car because I haven't seen many similar finishes on here. I would however love to get that wet look so I might try that method. Being on a tight budget sucks! Thanks again.

There was a similar color S2000 posted not too long ago with OCW and it looked pretty good to me. OCW has done well for me on many colors, I guess due to it being quite clear but still wet and decent depth because of its carnauba and sealant base.

I think FMJ would look good as well, UPP would be far from being a bad choice. They're all excellent choices with well-prepped paint and layered several times will give nice pop.
