Hi all,
I've never really detailed a car per se and am getting ready to do my black '04 Liberty Renegade which hasn't really had anything done to it since I bought it last October. It's kept in the driveway and now has some minor surface scratching here and there that needs to be worked out.
Anyway, I've been reading a number of forums about detailing, recommendations, procedures, products, etc., and I've also gotten some things I figured I might one day be able to make good use of (or at least I thought so):

- PC 7424
PC 7428 (got a deal on this @ $128.00 off ebay, couldn't resist the price)
Pads for the 7424 (1x 6" Flexible Velcro Backing Plate, 1x 6" Lambswool Compounding Pad, 1x 7.5" Advanced Yellow Compounding Pad, 2x 7.5" Advanced White Polishing Pads, 1x 7.5" Advanced Grey Finishing Pad)
An assortment of microfiber towels, including a couple of Big Blue II's
Natural Sea Sponge
Sheepskin Washmit
A number of microfiber hand applicators
Eimann Fabrik Power Wash+
P21S Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo
Blackfire PolyClay II Kit
Meguiar's Scratch X Scratch Remover
Klasse AIO
Klasse SG
P21S Carnuba Wax
[/list=1]
After reading the forums here, I've also thought of picking up some UPP and using it instead of the AIO. And I'm not sure what I really want to use as the first step after the wash and any necessary claying (the cleaning/polishing phase).
Anyway, it's great to be here. The forums here seem to provide alot of helpful info!
