I am about to dive in at the deep end with my turquoise blue Porsche 993 with the glass targa top. I will use a PC 7424XP and plan to do the following:
Wash using dish soap.
Clay bar - glass, paint and rims.
Question: should I wash the car again after claying it? Or rinse it with a mixture of alcohol & water?
I have M105, but I suspect my paint may be too soft and/or the damage is not so bad that I need it, in which case I'll use Sonus SXF-1 and finish with M205, which I will also use on the glass.
I'll wipe the entire car down with a mixture of alcohol & water before sealing with Sonax Polymer New Shield.
Should I M205 the glass top first, and if so, should I wash/rinse the car to remove any glass debris before addressing the paintwork?
Does anyone know if it's okay to use the Sonax Polymer New Shield on glass?
I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out. I will try to remember to post some before & after photos.
All comments and advice will be appreciated!
