Another HD Polish Review

This looks awesome.. I'm going to the HD meet this weekend. I hope to see this polish in action. Do you guys think this polish will work for the body shop environment?

Based on the fact that Barry Theal sells to dealerships I'm going to say yes. However, I would still confirm that with the folks at 3D just to be safe. :) I honestly don't think you will be disappointed.

And it is definitely easier to use on really soft paints, where Menzerna takes so much effort to remove that you're taking a step back just by wiping off the residue. It's my favorite finishing polish to date, but has enough bite to make it a good one-step lots of the time.

Is HD Polish consistancy suppose to be thick like HD Poxy or more towards a creme like HD Cut. I just got a new bottle of HD Polish on 4-19-13 directly from 3d and its very thick much like poxy. Is this how its suppose to be????
 
I have a new bottle too and it is pretty thick. But not like the "thick" poxy. Just use it, will you?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

David, i've got nothing to compare it to. It's my first purchase and I've only spent 10 mins or so without it. It's very thick - -as thick as my Poxy and a bit of a challenge to get out of the bottle.

Richard, I can't comment on a formula change, but I do believe the bottle I ended up with is far thicker than intended. I'm concerned about how it's going to age and whether I'll be able to use it 6 months or a year from now.
 
I don't think (with certainty) that the formula changed.



Tom / Brian - the ball is in your court. Feel free to give it a try. I really don't think there will be a problem. If there is (even down the road) it will 100% be taken care of.



I have an e-mail into Tunch asking him about the thickness. I will update as I know more, but I think my above reply is pretty much what he will say.



Personally, if it is too thick to dispense, then I completely understand you not even wanting to try it. if that is the case, just let me know.
 
David, I have tried it and a huge amount came out of the bottle onto the pad cuz the bottle has to be squeezed aggressively to get it out. I ended up with a huge amount on the pad.



I have forwarded Ben the batch number and date.
 
Guess I should hold onto what's left of my purple version? Or I could put it up to the highest bidder... :dance:
