This thread has definitely made me feel old. I am definitely a 70's rocker and here is my short list of CD's that always stay in my ride:

Led Zeppelin I and II

Stevie Ray Vaughan - several (my main man)

Allman Brothers - several (I was weaned on this music)

Hendrix greatest hits - talk about strong

Pink Floyd - that remastered double CD that just came out

John Prine - doubt if any of you have ever heard his stuff - great songwriter like Dylan that hangs out here in Nashville

Blues - always keep a couple of CD's in the car. Currently have Taj Mahal and Luther Allison.

I can get most anywhere I need to go with these cookin'. Just have to remember to turn down the volume before I pull in the garage at night - the wife is getting too old for cranking it up.

newest faves:

high energy drivin (hit 95 on I-96 with it)

My favorite driving music is German, the kind that emanates from under the hood and escapes to the rear through my UUC motorwerks System-U stainless steel exhaust. Maybe I should have bought my car with the radio delete option.:D

Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects

Flaw - Payback

Hey Prince download, a song called "That's Where You Take Me", it's a Britney song. It's her JJ wannabe song, it's pretty good.

Dirty Vegas is taking over my car these days.
