Another from Downunder!

Oh man, my Pandora is loaded with all kinds of different driving music. Just depends if I am working Over Time or pleasure driving. :)

Had to do hundreds of miles in one of the Crown Vics recently, went through the ZZ Top box set that Accumulatorette got me for Christmas.

If I were in something like a Ferrari or Lambo, Id push the pedal to the metal and blast O Fortuna from Orff's Carmina Burana but on second thought, probably not ; the sound of their motors alone supercedes anything musical I can think of.

For more down to earth driving, I almost always have jazz on. There's a rich history of it in my family, all the men on my father's side having been jazz musicians, minus moi, who stumbled into the world of detailing and never looked back.

Love ZZ top. Started with Eliminator and working my way to the rest of their collection.

I have tried Jazz while driving (the fusion version of Mahavishnu Orchestra at least). Hasn't worked as well as rock & roll roll has.

I think Rory Gallagher (a Sony GR compiled collection) and Led Zeppelin (one of their best collections) will be the next CD's to drive to.

Heh heh, when I'm driving seriously, I turn the stereo *off*, to eliminate one distraction ;)

I gave it a second thought .The roar of the motor of one of those would be plenty music I would need.

I heard o fortuna live in concert and it is certainly exhilarating ! Behind the wheel of a super car it's even more so.
