Another from Downunder!

Kenny Cheseny-Anything but mine. Really gets those RE 8's pumpin when the bass drum kicks in! I love it. Reminds me of happy times in summer.

I've been listening to a lot of Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin and ELO lately.

Dire straits-money for nothin! Fantastic song to check the "musical" qualities of any good subwoofer system. The drums at 1:36 are great.

Prinz, I like your house picks. I used to mess around with DJing, too. The thread is long so I didn't read everything. I love Todd Terry's contributions, Fast Eddie, LNR (Work It to The Bone), Adonis, Ralphi Rosario, Royal House, A Guy Called Gerald, etc.

I like many different flavors of dance music although lately it's been Ministry of Sound CDs that I listen to.

For rock, I listen to many things but I blast not-quite-mainstream stuff like Deep Purple (Mark II for those in the know), Uriah Heep, Frank Marino (Mahogany Rush), Slayer, early Metallica, Pat Travers, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath (Sabotage album), etc.

I don't really like hip-hop but I love those old skool rap remixes (Planet Rock, Al Naayfish, etc.)

Fave driving song: Depeche Mode - Behind the Wheel/Route 66 mix

I listen to a lot of NPR when the tunes on the radio get a bit repetitious.

Some of my favorite roadtrips were taken with house music in my car's tape deck or CD player. One of my favorites was in 1997 when I drove to Champaign listening to Weekend by Phreek and It's A War by Kano.

In fact, I am listening to "Real Love" by Jesse Saunders while I am critiquing a classmate's paper.

Social Distortion - Reach for the Sky (played it during my videos of driving through the CA/OR mountains)

Disturbed - Land of Confusion

I can't believe that no one came up with "Eastbound and Down" from Smokey and the Bandit!

OMFG!!!! I change my vote!!!!! That is my absolute favorite movie in the world, and the song is awsome as well. I can recite every single word in that movie. I dont think that is wierd.:nervous: :bolt

When I went to take delivery of my new Porsche, I brought with me for the very first song in the CD player:

"I CAN'T DRIVE...... 55!" Sammy Hagar.

Deanski

It's probably a mood thing, that been said..... Few things can top the feeling of listening to Beethoven's Pastoral No.6 while doing three digits during a rainy day, wipers off as you see the rain rushing up and away the windshield., for every day commuting Boston, Rush 2112, Led Z, Saga, AC-DC and many more will do the trick. My car's stereo is off 97% of the time because the engine produces such a sweet note that time after time it turns out to be my favorite driving song., Guess what I drive ???!!!!.......:woot2:
