Another Ford... and a babe!

BLKZ28,

Where did you take that picture? Just curious, I remember most roads in Danville area, but did not remember that particular spot?

The Z28 looks awesome. My sister has a 95. It does not look as shiny as yours, but she gets compliments on it.

intacted. That picture was taken in Martinsville at the Liberty Fair Mall.

What color is your sister's 95? There is a nice Red 95 Z28 convertible that I see every so often.

I hear that you got quite a bit of snow last week. We got about 7-8" in Danville. Most of it is already melted. :D

BlkZ28,

My sis lives in Richmond. Her Z is black. Ha, glad my memory is intact after all. Yeah, we got some snow, about 6 inches where I am. Most is all gone. Good thing I have the garage, to keep my new truck in. I had just ABC'd it before the snow hit. PPCL over the weekend on all metal surfaces. Just getting ready to AIO it tonight and maybe a coat of SG. Inside the garage it is about 48 to 50 degrees. Not too bad with a sweatshirt on. Keep on shinin'

Funny Blake. I just can't get over the way other people use that line a bit differently. I think DK may have a point. Sometimes a greatly detailed silver car looks absolutely stunning. It just stands out.

BLACK!

Is that your car, William? If that is, I think you need to explain exactly what you used and how you did it!! Are you sure that's black?!

finding the right angle and lighting. Well and a lot of Z5 :) . It doesn't look so great if the shot was taken at a different perspective. I'm confident that same shot can be duplicated on an UNWAXED car with paint in fair condition.

My paintwork & detailing.

William is right though, you can get great reflections off a black car even if it's not in such great condition. That's why it's scary to trust a picture if you're a prospective buyer of a car, especially black. It can look great in the pic but in person be a dog. I strive to make mine live up to it's posted personna. I think all of us here do. Cheers.

That would be a tie between silver and yellow. Take for example my Polar Silver Mettalic Porsche and my father's Spa Yellow Pearl Honda:

Guitarman.....that pic is the closest I've seen to stealth technology in car finishes! Just a little more work and you won't be able to see it at all!!!!

H

There have been a lot of cars in my family I wish I could've made disappear...only my 'Bird i'm still fond of.

Now that Chevy Van I used to have years ago...If only today's technology could've made it invisible....'cause looking at it and working on it were horrid. :)

Not me , but a friend in my hood.

I wouldn't have said this 2 years ago but I think white looks dang good all shined up. It is so hard to get white looking that liquidy shiney color that you see on darker cars.

One thing IS certain, when you get a good gloss out of white, you are definitely doing your homework IMO. Very nice.

You don't see it often, though, which makes it that much more unique. I especially like white with tinted windows.

Anyhow, here is my dads white 1986 camaro, with a reflection of my bimmer in it!

<strong class='bbc'>Wow Koy, what is on that car? [/b]</blockquote>
It has 3 coats of klasse SG on it then 3 coats of Blitz. This pic was taken in July. Last night it rained here in PA nd the car still beads AWESOME. It is a daily driver that gets washed about once a month and it still out beads my truck with 6 or 7 coats of zaino on it. I use OGSO after each wash.

All the mirror-like pics you guys are posting is making me salitvate! Nice polish and wax jobs! Making Blk look good is all in the prep. I've got a horrible Blk "Cosmo's" color, kinda like a light Blk or dark grey. I like a regular Blk car though.
